Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Ben Brown and I am a veterinarian. I was born in Davis County and attended Woods Cross High School, graduating in 1995.

My undergraduate education in Bioveterinary Science was completed at Utah State University in Logan, UT. I started veterinary school in the fall of 1998 in Fort Collins, Colorado at Colorado State University.

In the spring of 2002, my lifetime goal was finally realized as I received my D.V.M. (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree).

I moved to Orange County, California to take my first job as a veterinarian. My wife Mindy came to me by absolute fate with her cat Dusty. Dusty had an unfortunate incident involving a tall tree and poor coordination, resulting in a fractured leg (femoral head for those of you wondering). Long story short, Dusty did great after her surgery, and Mindy stuck around for the long-haul (lucky for me!).

After practicing for four years in the warmth and Disney-enriched environment of southern California we moved back to Utah to be near my parents and work in Bountiful.

Mindy and I recently decided to make the leap of faith and start this mobile clinic.

When I am not caring for my canine and feline patients, I enjoy fly-fishing any quiet stream, camping under the stars and soaking in the beauty of nature. I grew up hiking the mountains along the Wasatch Front and enjoy days and nights in the lodgepole pines of the Uintas and the red rock and cedars of southeastern Utah. I dream one day of becoming a forest ranger in retirement. One of my favorite books is The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein.

Mindy Brown grew up in many different areas of southern California, but always near a beach.

Mindy has spent countless hours and late nights assisting with medical procedures and performing all the tasks of a veterinary technician over the past several years (one of the dangers of being married to a veterinarian).

When you see Mindy, the girls (Fiona, and L.D.) are usually with her and love their mommy very much. Mindy loves animals and has a true passion for all types of art. She loves nature and enjoys camping and hiking.

Mindy is loving her new life of caring for their loving canine and feline patients.

Since Ashley was little she had always had a desire to take care of animals. After spending some time at the University of Utah, Ashley found herself enrolling in Broadview University’s Veterinary Technology Program in an effort to follow her life long dream.

She graduated from Broadview in 2014, and after passing her national exam, she earned her CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) licensure. In her spare time Ashley and her husband enjoy going on hikes, discovering and eating foods, going to the movies, and watching soccer games.
